We do not exaggerate when we say that our cadWeazle introduces a new era of mobility and accessibility. Be it muddy gras, sandy beaches, snowy clearings or rocky paths – all these areas were only accessible for those who were able to reach them by using their own healthy legs. Everybody else had to give up his dreams or was dependent on other people’s help to reach these regions. But that time is over now. The cadWeazle was made for all those who follow their dreams and hopes. We intentionally left out various fancy adjustment options and such as our long experience in making vehicles taught us one thing: when it comes to mudflats or sandy beaches only the simple mechanisms will work and – in the long run – survive.
Multiple applications
The cadWeazle can do more than you might actually think at first glance. It has permission to enter any nature protection area and is therefore perfect for nature friends, scientists and zoologists. Due to its nearly silent engine you will be able to approach animals such as sea lions or birds as close as never before without scaring them away. Foresters, farmers, park rangers and hunters now have the ability to stay in their favorite environment – even after an accident.
Trips to nature or the ocean may sometimes be a problem for elderly people too. Fatigue starts to affect the muscles in the legs and a break is needed. cadWeazle can help you for it allows you to rest for a moment and still keep up with the group or you can even leave them way behind you if you want. Consequently you will even look more forward to trips and your favorite environments.
The standard version of cadWeazle supports body weights up to 125 kg (276 lbs).
Technical features
Four of our patented EuroTrax balloon wheels prevent the cadweazle’s getting stuck in any soft ground. Newly developed, special tires with cadSpikes ensure best grip at all times. The corrosion protected aluminum frame is anodised and resistent to seawater. Above all, pastic parts are ultraviolet ray-proofed and ensure long-lasting quality and color. We installed many security mechanisms for your own safety such as the foot- and 4 point-seatbelt system, a lap seatbelt and comfortable, detachable back and seat paddings. Rotatable arm supports allow for easy mounting and dismounting from the side. The cadWeazle is therefore perfect for wheelchair users and people of all ages. Its appealing looks do not remind one of a classic wheelchair at all, do they?
Two strong, splash water protected engines (360 W) with thermal overload protection will power the back wheels for miles and miles. The highly efficient electromagnetic brake system as well as the short circuit and thermally protected electronics grant the driver an additional important feeling of safety. Operate your cadWeazle with the intuitive joystick, make adjustments to parameters like sensibility and acceleration rate or sound the horn when you’re coming in too fast. Magnetically coded keys give thieves a very hard time. Large batteries have found their place within the cadWeazle as has the patented servo system that always makes sure that all four wheels have ground contact. A bumpy surface or smaller obstacles such as stones, holes and sticks are literally ignored by our big low pressure balloonwheels (0.3 bar) – the perfect feature for a smooth drive.
We use control hardware by the well established company Dynamic. The advantage is the service – you will find it in any city worldwide. Therefore you will always have a partner should you ever need help in configuring the steering-, brake- or acceleration rate of your cadWeazle. Additionally we ourselves have all parts available and will ship them in a heartbeat so you can say goodbye to long waits and use your time driving.
The cadWeazle will go up to 6km/h (3.7 mph). You will not need a license nor insurance or registration approval. Please note that these rules apply for German law - if you are not sure check back with your State laws.
Range
People have asked us “how far can the cadWeazle go”? Well we cannot answer this question in general. If you use cadWeazle on softer grounds the engines will have to work harder to keep you moving, thus reducing the allover distance you can put behind you. Still it is more than enough as you might want to stop in between or even turn the cadWeazle off to enjoy the view.
Dimensions / Weight
The dimensions of the cadWeazle are: 120 cm / 47.2 in (length) x 108 cm / 42.5 in (width) x 126 cm / 49.6 in (height) so the cadWeazle will fit into your car trailer, van or pick-up truck. You can change your seat’s height and angle by changing the tires’ pressure which is an important fact for wheelchair users. Seat dimensions are: 45 cm / 17.7 in (depth) x 47 cm / 18.5 in (width) x 65 cm / 25.6 in (seat height). The arm supports are 27 cm / 10.6 in long, adjustable in angle and detachable, as is the back support. The cadWeazle’s weight comes to about 130 kg / 287 lbs.
Optional equipment / custom made designs
We can offer you a solar roof for your cadWeazle to protect you from direct sun exposure or rain and to recharge your batteries as you drive. You can feel the difference in range on sunny days! We also have the cadTrailer and hitch available should you ever want to have a picnic or take some goods with you. Please DO NOT EVER hesitate to contact us about special wishes or designs! Look at screenshot 1 at the top of the page for example. You will see an individually designed cadWeazle that can be controlled with your toes. We also designed the foot rest and arm supports according to the customer’s needs. Even a wider seat is nothing fancy or weird – it is your cadWeazle and you should feel comfortable using it!
