| Our brandnew trailer cradle for catamarans. Width: 310mm (12.2in) - height: 110mm (4.33in). Fits nearly any catamaran with round hulls and skegs. Tornado, HC 17/18/20/21, Prindle 18-2/19, DART HAWK, as well as other catamarans with round hulls. The cradle is held in place by a tube clamp.
This trailer cradle is made of UV-rays-protected high quality plastic that is even stronger than our solid standard cradles. Therefore the trailer cradle fits especially well to catamaran trailers that force the boat to be lifted on one side (to fit the boat into a narrow lane on the highway for example). Although standard UNI-50 cradles are pretty tough this cradle brings a lot more safety when you have to get your boat to places. You cannot allow the cradles to become the weak part of the whole system because that would endanger your boat greatly. Consequently the cradles' accuracy of fit is essential for a smooth connection of boat and trailer. They also prevent your boat from sliding off the trailer to the side - a true horror story for any catamaran sailor.
