Dimensions of 580x260 mm (22.8 x 10.2 in) fastly result in a large area of support once the buggy is put onto sandy ground. The tire's shape allows for more stability and delays the buggy's lifting off at one side when the wind pressure gets too high. Therefore the effect of having equipped
EuroTrax HiSpeed wheels bears comparison to having a wider vehicle. In practice this means your buggy can absorb more shear force and is rather capable of going upwind more quickly.

The tire is manufactured according to our specifications and features enormous load capacity. A study by the technical college Kiel has proven that the wheel can hold far more than the permissible 200 kg (441 lbs). We have been a trusted partner by buggy pilots for more than 10 years and multiple european and world cup titles have been won with the essential help of our successful HiSpeed tires and bearings. Even under extreme circumstances such as sudden shocks or strong shear forces - the tire always stays right on the rim.
The rim itself is injection molded and made out of glass fiber reinforced plastic - a more than solid construction that is mostly responsible for our balloon wheels' good reputation. Furthermore the rim features very tough spokes that bring you yet two more advantages as a buggy race driver: On one hand the spokes allow you to easily use our
special anti-theft device (plastic-coated steel cable) on the other hand they simply make the rim
very light. The wheel is ready to go the moment you open the package. Make use of the optional tube if you plan on venturing the desert or embarking on a journey. We will be happy to prepare your wheel accordingly so you will not encounter any bad surprises away from civilization. Equipped with a common valve you can inflate your tube at any given gas station.
